10th Conference on
Input-Output Analysis

Dear colleague,
We are pleased to announce the 10th Spanish Conference on Input–Output Analysis to be hosted by the School of Commerce and Tourism of the University of Oviedo, on the 5th and 6th of September 2024, organized by the Hispanic-American Input–Output Analysis Society (SHAIO), the University of Oviedo, and REGiOlab, the Regional Economic Analysis Laboratory of the University of Oviedo. Moreover, on the 4th of September the 5th edition of the Spanish School of Input–Output Analysis will take place. In this edition three courses will be offered approaching basic and interesting topics on input–output analysis.
Call for papers
Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and must be submitted (in Spanish and English) using COPASS-SHAIO before May 15th, 2024. The Scientific Committee will communicate the acceptation of abstracts not later than June 10th, 2024. Once accepted, the full manuscript (or extended abstract with a minimum 2,000 words) must be submitted via COPASS-SHAIO before July 15th, 2024.
The Conference is fully open to the international scientific community so Spanish and English are admitted for submission. Submissions in English might be grouped together in English-only speaking sessions.
Submissions must be ascribed to one of the following thematic areas:
- Construction and balancing of input-output tables.
- Methodological aspects of input-output analysis.
- Social Accounting Matrices.
- Applied General Equilibrium Models.
- Analysis of physical and monetary flows.
- Ecological and environmental economics.
- International trade and value added generation.
- Structural change.
- Sectoral analysis.
- Regional modelling.

Submissions can also be ascribed to the special session organized by research group GEAR from the University of Castilla la Mancha (UCLM):
